It's been a while....................

....... only cos' I haven't had much to blog about!!

I've been busy making more hats for Natalie's expectant baby boy ......... only 2 weeks to go now & I'm so excited!!!! ............... she's so uncomfortable at the mo bless her!

Her & Joe (BF) are moving into their new house on Saturday from the apartment they've been in for the past 18months so she's beside herself right now with excitment. It will be so good for them to just have their own parking speck!! she has to practically fight every day for a space!!

Me & Mick will be going to help them - well Mick & Joe are gonna be doing all the moving/lifting etc while me & Natalie will be making lunch & drinks & sorting baby clothes into their new home!! They also have to make a trip to Ikea to pick up their bedroom furniture, their last place was fully furnished so they have to start from scatch with everything!

Here's a couple of baby cards I made last week, again using my fab Cricut & the New Arrival cartridge.
Well, I have to love you & leave you right now cos' I have to make a couple of cards for a friend of mine that are needed for the weekend!
Thanx for visiting my little place, it means so much! :x

Happy Tuesday!

I'm happy today cos' I went out & ordered our new bed which is being delivered in 4 weeks!! yipee!!

Our present bed is coming up for 9 years old & has lost it's firmness (is that a word?) and I've been wanting a new one for ages. My back isn't getting any better & I feel this bed isn't helping.

We're sort of killing 2 birds with one stone here cos' we only have a single one upstairs for any guests. Natalie & Joe can't share the single cos' of her baby belly so they pull out our spare KS mattress topper!

Anyway, I promised more piccies of the house so here's our

This pic was taken from the hallway door. I love all the Velux windows in this house, I love everything being so light, it's great in the summer mornings!!

This is from the french doors leading to the back garden. As you can see, Mick still needs to put the plinths & legs on the base units.

And this is taken from the island looking down towards the doors, to the right of the sofa is the diningroom, I didn't take a pic cos' the table had my sewing machine & cut fabric ready for me to make up the sheets for Natalie's baby cradle!

Another baby card, this time for a girl! This is like a card on a card, the top one being pink & closed by the gingham ribbon, this is a template on the New Arival cartridge for my Cricut .......... pretty neat eh?!
Thanks for visiting my crafty blog, it means so much! :)

Happy St Patricks Day everyone!

I've been scrapping again! ................. another for Olivia's album.

Again I used some BG Mellow papers, I'm loving the colours of these papers right now - I think it's the oranges!

Also I did a few more baby cards to have in for upcoming births, I used my Cricut New Arrival cartridge, which is my fav so far.

As quite a few of my online friends know, we started building a new house in February 2006 & moved in June 07. I've been promising to upload some photo's of the rooms that are almost complete (apart from finishing touches) ................... so here goes!

The main bathroom

One of the loft rooms, where guests stay!

This is our lounge from left to right as you come in the door, I didn't know how better to do this as I don't have a wide angled lens on my camera :(
I still have to finish off the picture wall area, (it's just getting round to doing it!!) and I don't like the large picture on the wall behind the sofa, I have 4 canvas's that I plan to do for day!! LOL
See the swivel chair in the third pic, that's mine & is the most comfortable chair ever!!
I'll post the kitchen tomorrow, thanks for visiting me, it means a lot! :)

Another weekend gone!!

It's been a good weekend but, I can't believe how quick this year is going ............... must be cos' I'm getting older! :)

I took a few photo's of Natalie's baby belly today & I'm quite pleased at how they turned out, I want to do a page for her so I'll do that then upload some of may favs from the day!

Also, I did a page of Olivia last night with some of the Basic Grey Mellow line which I got in Florida last September!!!!

This one is Olivia holding her daddies finger when she was about 4 weeks old, I used goodies from a Cocoa Daisy Kit from last year!!

How slow am I at using up my stash!? I really do need to do more
scrapping before grandchild number 2 arrives in 4 weeks!

This is a card I made for a friends sister who's just given birth to a gorgeous baby boy ............... obviously!! LOL
I used my beloved Cricut for this, this machine is amazing!!

Thanks for visiting my little crafty place, it means so much to me! :)

I know..................

.................. we've been home nearly a week & I still haven't had the time to blog!! ......... bad blogger!!

Anyway, I'm here now!

Had a lovely Mother's Day with Natalie & Joe visiting for the weekend. I was spoiled rotten with pj's, money, Tulips from Tesco.........don't you just love tulips? They look just right in our lounge & are the perfect colour too!............ purple!!

Natalie is getting really big & has only 6 weeks to go! I did her cradle bumper & sheets today, it was so good to sew fabric again after such a long time, maybe I'll do it a bit more often!

On Friday I visited Rebecca & she gave me the March bloom kit & more to play with, last night I made my mum a gorgeous gift for mums day with it, she was delighted!!.............I'll upload pics thru the week!

I'm gonna have a play with my new stamps from Sally this coming week, it's ages since I've stamped, I got the Happy Everything set so they're gonna save me loads on rub-on greetings/sentiments.

How funny is this pic of Olivia, she has a Piglet suit on & Rachel has caught her just at the right time with that funny grin!! LOL
